Five Star Baseball Idaho was founded in April 2025 by Idaho natives Jay Wurschmidt and Aislyn Wandell-Wurschmidt. As a proud franchise of Five Star Mafia West Coast and Five Star National Baseball, our program was built with the support of longtime mentor, Marine brother, and friend James Brooks—Director and Head Coach of Five Star Mafia West Coast.

Baseball has always been a central part of our lives. As lifelong athletes and dedicated fans of the game, we not only enjoy playing and coaching baseball, but also avidly follow our favorite MLB teams year-round. The energy of the game, the strategy behind every pitch, and the growth we see in young players is what drives our passion.
